Directions
From Blue River, Proceed east 3 miles on Hwy. 126, turn left onto Rd. 15 for 3.6 miles north. Turn right onto Rd.1506 and follow it east for 6.5 miles to the lower trailhead located on the right, or follow Rd. 1506 for 9.5 miles to the upper trailhead on the right. Roadside parking at both trailheads. TERMINATES: Both ends of the trail terminate on Rd. 1506
Location Information
The Lookout Creek Old Growth Trail (#4105) is a 3.5 mile very difficult hike. The entire length of the trail passes through an old growth forest on the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest. Trail grade is moderate with occasional short, steep pitches.
