Location Information
The Buckhead Nature Trail is an easy 0.5 mile hike. This paved interpretive trail focuses on wildlife and wildlife habitat. The tall black cottonwoods and scattered conifers offer cover to deer and elk, while the slow, slack water supports populations of Western Pond Turtles and Oregon Chubb. Wildflowers bloom in the spring, and tangles of Himalaya blackberries wait to be picked in late summer.
