From Roseburg, Travel east on Highway 138 23 miles past the Umpqua Ranger Station to Steamboat Creek Forest Service Road 38. Follow 38 for approximately nine miles to Forest Service Road 3817. Follow 3817 to Forest Service Road 3850. Follow 3850 to Forest Service Road 3850-300. Follow 3850-300 four miles to the Bullpup Trailhead, where the trail begins.
