From Roseburg, Travel east on Highway 138 25 miles past the North Umpqua Ranger Station to Forest Service Road 4713 (Jack Creek Road), which is located on the left, approximately half a mile east of Island Campground. Follow 4713 to the junction of 4713-100 in approximately four miles. Continue on 4713-100 for about three miles to its junction with Road 120. Road 120 is closed by a gate 12/15 - 7/15 for wildlife protection. Non vehicular access is permitted during this time period. Follow 120 about three miles to Road 130, and follow 130 one mile to the trailhead.
Location Information
Bradley Ridge Trail passes through timber to rock overhangs and the first half mile is very steep. The trail is recommended for family use and features a view of the North Umpqua Canyon. The main point of interest if the rock overhand where the Umpqua Indians lived. Much vandalism has occurred at the cave in the past so please do not destroy or deface the cave and do not pack out any artifacts.
