From Roseburg, Travel east on Highway 138 18 miles past the Umpqua Ranger Station to Forest Service Road 4711 (Wright Creek Road). Turn right on 4711 and follow it eight miles to Forest Service Road 4711-600. Follow 4711-600 three miles to 4711-630, and follow this road to its end in 3/4 miles at the trailhead.
Location Information
Cougar Shelter Trail features a view of the Cougar Creek drainage, seen from a rustic shelter at the end of the trail. Cougar Bluffs is nearby.
