From Dorena Lake, Take Row River Road (#2400) southeast to Sharps Creek Rd (#2460). Turn right (south) and continue to the junction with road #23. Turn right (south) and follow this to the trailhead.
Location Information
This 6.5 mile trail is open to hiking and horseback riding. This trail was constructed in 1864-65 as a mining route from the Oakland- Roseburg area to the Bohemia mining area. This portion has been designated as a historical National Recreation Trail. This trail is in the Umpqua National Forest, northeast of Crater Lake National Park. It is rated as a difficult trail with a grade of 10-25%
