From Roseburg, Travel east on Highway 138 to Road 28, the Big Camas road, at Copeland Creek. Follow 28 for 13.7 miles and turn left onto Road 2715-950. Follow 2715-950 for approximately two miles and turn left onto Road 2715-980. Follow 2715-980 about 1/2 mile to the trailhead on right.
Location Information
Black Rock Creek Trail traverses dense and open timber stands, lush meadows, and small seasonal streams. The huge Black Rock Meadow with water and a myriad of wildflowers can be seen from the trail and is a good choice for camping. The west trailhead is near Rolling Grounds, a popular spot for elk.
