Location Information
The Illahe Lookout Trail passes through timber, sheer drop-offs and rock outcroppings before reaching the lookout. An exhilarating view of the surrounding countryside may be seen from the top. Many Cascade mountain peaks can also be seen. Visitors should ask permission from the lookout attendant before climbing up into the tower, which is occupied from May to October. An older Cupola style ground lookout is located adjacent to the present tower.
