From Dale, From Highway 395 near Dale, head east 29 miles on Forest Road #10 to Trailhead.
Location Information
The area is signed. Limited parking, Olive Lake Campground is located approximately 1 1/2 miles from the trailhead. A section of the trail is in the North Fork John Day Wilderness and is closed to motorized vehicles. Northwest Forest Pass required. Closed to all motorized and mechanized equipment, including mountain bikes and carts.
