From Brookings, Travel northeast on County Road 784 (North Bank) to Forest Service Road 1376. Follow 1376 northeast to spur road 360. Follow 360 east to spur road 365 which ends at the trailhead (30 miles from Brookings).
Location Information
The Tin Cup Trail is composed of rolling hills as it parallels the "Scenic" and then "Wild" portions of the Chetco National Wild and Scenic River. Access is provided to the river and smaller tributaries for fishing and swimming. Elevations range from 500 feet to 1,200 feet and the Kalmiopsis Wilderness is located across the river at the confluence of Boulder Creek. Facilities at the trailhead include a bulletin board, registration, parking, picnic tables, a toilet and trash.
