Directions
From Cave Junction, Travel east on State Highway 46 across the forest boundary and to Forest Service Road #4611. Follow 4611 southeast to Forest Service Road #079. Take 079 south to the trailhead.
Location Information
The Elk Creek Trail is a moderately steep trail that winds along Elk Creek through heavy woods to a high mountain saddle and the Boundary Trail #1207. It offers good access to Grayback Mountain.
