Directions
From Gold Beach, Travel south on Highway 101 to County Road 635 (Hunter Creek). Follow 635 east to Forest Service Road 3680. Follow 3680 northeast to Forest Service Road 360 south to spur road 369. Follow 369 to the trailhead.
Location Information
Panther Lake Trail provides alternative access for day hikes into the Snow Camp/Windy Valley area. The trail joins the Snow Camp Trail #1103 within 0.2 miles of the junction for the Snow Camp Lookout Trail #1103A. For visitors to the Snow Camp Lookout, it provides day hike access to Panther Lake (a small seasonal lake). The Snow Camp/Windy Valley area provides botanic, geologic and scenic opportunities.
