Directions
From Sailor Gull, Travel south on Forest Service Road #4904 to FS Road #4906. Follow 4906 south to FS Road #053. Take 053 south to the trailhead.
Location Information
The Black Butte Trail is a good horseback trail with access to Twin Valley and Klamath National Forest. The loop around Polar Bear Mountain., Youngs Valley, and Twin Valley makes a very scenic two day hike or a one day hike for marathoners.
