Directions
From Brookings, Travel north on County Road 784 (North Bank) to Forest Service Road 1376. Follow 1376 northeast for approximately 15 miles to the trailhead for the Snow Camp Trail #1103. Follow this trail for approximately 2.9 miles to the Snow Camp Lookout Trail.
Location Information
After hiking the Snow Camp Trail, this short route provides access to a restored fire lookout and some of the best scenic views of the area. Check with the Chetco Ranger Station concerning the overnight rental of the lookout.

Special Rental Opportunity: Snow Camp Lookout is available for rent during the snow free season (June - September). Cost is $30.00 per night. This money is used for maintenance and renovation of the lookout. Reservations are accepted beginning January 1st of each new year. Due to the high demand for Snow Camp Lookout, no refunds are allowed. However, we ask that you advise us if you cannot keep your reservation. Call the Chetco R.D. for reservations Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 p.m. at (541) 469-2196 after January 1st.
