From Brookings, Travel northeast on County Road 784 (North Bank) to Forest Service Road 1376. Follow 1376 northeast to spur road 360. Follow 360 east to spur road 365 which ends at the trailhead for the Tin Cup Trail #1117 (30 miles from Brookings). Follow this trail for 1.3 miles to the Mislatnah Trail.
Location Information
The Mislatnah Trail is the only access route into the Big Craggies Botanical Area. Good views are featured from the Mislatnah Peak Lookout Sites where the trail officially ends. A "short" way trail will take hikers into the botanical area from here. One good campsite with water (Jack's Camp) is below the Mislatnah Peak.
