Spring is a good time to view serpentine associated plant species. A historical grave site as well as fishing and swimming are interests also found here. NOTE: For access to the North Fork Smith River Trail #1233, carefully ford the river. For access to the Sourdough Camp and Forest Service Road 4402 carefully ford both the river and Bald Face Creek.
