Directions
From Brookings, Travel northeast on County Road 784 (North Bank) to Forest Service Road 1376. Follow 1376 northeast to Forest Service Road 1909 east and the trailhead for the Vulcan Lake Trail #1110A at road's end (32 miles from Brookings). Follow this trail for 1.3 miles to the junction with the Little Vulcan Lake Trail.
Location Information
The Little Vulcan Lake Trail provides access to Little Vulcan Lake, northeast of the larger and deeper Vulcan Lake. Here, hikers will find a more rustic camp setting with Darlingtonia (Pitcher Plants) and Azalea along the banks.
