Directions
From Estacada, Travel south on Hwy. 224 for 25.6 miles (approximately .50 mile past Ripplebrook Guard Station) and turn right onto Rd. 46. On Road 46 travel 3.5 miles south and turn right onto Rd. 63. On Road 63 travel 5.7 miles and turn right onto Road 6340. On Road 6340 travel 7.8 miles and you will come to a fork in the road (6340 and 6341). Stay to the left (which is still 6340) and follow it for approximately 1.5 miles until you come to the trailhead parking area at the end of the road. The trail takes off to the right of the road.
Location Information
Bull of the Woods Trail climbs 500 feet in 3.2 miles to the summit of Bull of the Woods and the lookout. There are scenic views of Three Sisters, Mt. Jefferson, and Three-Fingered Jack. Trail also accesses many other trails within the Bull of the Woods Wilderness. Bull of the Woods group size limit is 12 heartbeats.
