Directions
From Oakridge, Proceed 2 miles east on Hwy. 58 to Kitson Springs Road. Continue for 17 miles on Kitson Springs Road to FS road 2316. Follow FS road 2316 for 5.5 miles to FS road 526. Continue on FS road 526 for 1 mile to Wolf Mountain Picnic Area.
Location Information
Wolf Mountain Picnic Ground is located approximately 27 miles from Oakridge at an elevation of 6,600 feet. This picnic ground has one site with a tables and fire rings. Toilets are available but there is no potable water.

Wolf Mountain, as an electronics site on the district, is not very scenic, but the panoramic view of the entire area is spectacular. Views include Diamond Peak, Bear Mountain, Three Sisters, Hills Creek and Lookout Point Reservoirs, Mt. Thielsen, Mt. Bailey and Mt. Shasta (on a very clear day).
