Location Information
Taylor Burn Forest Campground is located approximately 43 miles from Oakridge at an elevation of 5,200 feet. This campground has 6 sites with fire rings. Toilets are available but there is no potable water.

This isolated primitive camp requires considerable patience to get to, but it is well worth the effort for those seeking isolation and outstanding alpine beauty. In midsummer the large meadows, which surrounds Taylor Burn Guard Station, are brilliant with Indian Paint Brush as well as other wildflowers. A broad opening to the west provides an expansive ridge view. The mosquito population is high from June to mid-August, so be prepared.
