Directions
From Blue River, Travel 3.5 miles east on Hwy. 126 to Aufderheide Drive (FS road 19). Continue on Aufderheide Drive to French Pete Campground.
Location Information
The French Pete Campground is located approximately 20 miles southeast of Blue River at an elevation of 1,800 feet. This campground has 17 sites with trailer space, tables and fire rings. Potable water and toilets are available.

Originally constructed in 1933, French Pete Campground has evolved into one of the district's most popular campground. Located at the confluence of French Pete Creek and the South Fork of the McKenzie River, a
thick canopy of conifers keep this area cool and refreshing during the hot summer months.
