Directions
From Blue River, Travel 3.5 miles east on Hwy. 126 to Aufderheide Drive (FS road 19). Proceed on Aufderheide Drive for 11.6 miles to FS road 1950 and continue for 1.5 miles to Slide Creek Campground.
Location Information
Slide Creek Campground is located approximately 17 miles southeast of Blue River at an elevation of 1,700 feet. This campground has 16 sites with trailer space, fire rings and tables. Potable water and toilets are available.

Slide Creek Campground, boat ramp and swim area is located on the east side of Cougar Reservoir 2 miles north of the Westside Bridge. Dwarfed by steep slopes of conifers, this diverse recreational area has recently been enlarged to improve the campground and its facilities. This area attracts hundreds of fishermen, boaters, swimmers and water skiers from early spring until late October. The reservoir is open to fishing year round. It has a double bath house and the swimming area is buoy marked for the user's safety.
