From Detroit, Travel 23 miles east on Hwy. 22 to Big Meadows Road (#2267). Continue on Big Meadows Road to Road #2257. Proceed on Road 2257 for 0.5 miles to Big Meadows Horse Camp.

Big Meadows Horse Camp is located approximately 25 miles southeast of Detroit at an elevation of 3,600 feet. This campground has 9 sites with trailer space, tables and fire rings. Potable water and toilets are available.

Big Meadows Horse Camp is near the Mt. Jefferson Wilderness area.
Several miles of loop trails radiate from the campground through nearby forest areas.
