Location Information
Indigo Lake Hike-in Campground is located approximately 43 miles southeast of Oakridge at an elevation of 5,900 feet. This campground has 5 tent only sites with tables and fire rings. Toilets are available but there is no potable water. This hike-in campground is quite primitive and remote, so there is ample opportunity for solitude. Indigo Lake is a high elevation lake situated on a bench between Timpanogas Lake and the Calapooya Divide. There is a large escarpment on the south side of the lake that provides an outstanding view. Sawtooth Mountain stands stately behind the waters edge. Be prepared for a very high mosquito population in July and August.
