Directions
From Roseburg, Travel east on Highway 138 to Little River Road #17. Follow Little River Road for 32 miles.This site is located 1/2 mile from Hemlock Lake Campground around the east arm of the lake.
Location Information
Hemlock Lake, a 28 acre man-made reservoir, is 33 feet at its deepest point and boating is allowed but NO MOTORS. Scenic hiking trails in the area include a one-mile loop around Hemlock Lake and the five mile Yellow Jacket Loop Trail #1522 which connects with a one mile side trail (#1516) to Flat Rock Mt. (used years ago as an emergency lookout). Yellow Jacket Loop Trail passes through high elevation timber and alpine meadows abundant with wildflowers in the spring.

Facilities include Picnic sites with picnic grills, vault toilets, fireplaces and garbage containers.
