From Prospect, Travel northeast on Highway 230 to its junction with Highway 138. Continue north on 138 and turn right onto Road 2610. Follow 2610 north to Road 2614. Follow 2614 northeast to Road 2612. Follow 2612 west to the campground, located on the north shore of Lemolo Lake
Location Information
The Poole Creek Campground, located in the Lemolo Lake Recreation Area, clings to the NW shore of Lemolo Reservoir beneath the heavily wooded Bunker Hill. Bald eagles soar above the lodgepole pine forest. Waterskiing is a popular activity on portions of the lake whose depth exceeds 100 feet in places. Facilities at the campground include tables, fireplaces and vault toilets. The Poole Creek Forest Service Campground with 59 camping units, the East Lemolo Forest Service Campground with informal camping units and the Inlet Forest Service Campground with 14 camping units are located in the area. In addition, the area includes a full service resort operating under special use permit from the Umpqua National Forest including: motel units and Swiss chalets, a restaurant, a lounge, groceries, gasoline, propane, fishing licenses, and boat rentals and boat ramp. An RV park which includes full hookup or electricity and water hookup only, a dump station, bathrooms,showers, and a Landromat is within this area as well.
