Location Information
North Fork Campground is a semi-primitive camping area offering limited facilities, but providing access to some fascinating recreational opportunities including hiking through old growth forests at the PAWN Trail, and fishing in the North Fork Siuslaw River.

The Campground is open seasonally from early May through October. It is rather remote and is not recommended for large RV's. Facilities include tables, fire rings, and chemical toilets. During the summer, there is a camp host on site.

The campground is on the site of the James homestead. The homestead was occupied in the late 1800's/early 1900's until the late 1930's or 1940. A walnut tree remains on the site from the old homestead. The Pawn Post
Office was located near the homestead.
