From Hood River, Travel south on Highway 35 to Primary Forest Route 17. Follow 17 south to the campground (approximately 2-3 miles past the forest boundary).

Located in the northeast corner of the Mount Hood National Forest, Gibson Prairie Horse Camp offers four camp sites at 3,900 feet elevation. The campground is easily accessible from Primary Forest Route 17, and activities include horseback riding and hiking.
