Location Information
This short trail connects The Grotto picnic area to Zion Lodge. From The Grotto the trail leads one half mile southward. This is an easy walk along the canyon floor on a level grade. The Great White Throne and The Spearhead are visible from the northern end of the track with Lady Mountain and Red Arch Mountain visible along the way southward. The Grotto Trail provides access to Kayenta and West Rim Trail from Zion Lodge. A loop hike can be created by joining the Emerald Pool Trail, Kayenta Trail and Grotto Trail.
