Directions
From South Entrance, Drive northward to the visitor center and park your car. Board the Zion shuttle and take it to The Grotto approximately five miles north in Zion Canyon.
Location Information
The Grotto consists of several picnic tables along Zion Canyon Scenic Drive below Red Arch Mountain. Amenities at this site include drinking water and restrooms. This facility is accessible for individuals using wheelchairs. In addition to serving as a picnic area this site also serves as a trailhead. Hikers and backpackers can gain access to the Grotto Trail, Kayenta Trail and West Rim Trail from this picnic area.
