Directions
From Big Sturmp Entrance, Travel northward on Highway 180 1.5 miles to the Generals Highway. Turn right on to the Generals Highway and drive 25 miles to the Lodgepole Village turnoff.
Location Information
The Lodgepole Visitor Center lies along Generals Highway in Lodgepole Village. It is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through 11/1. During the winter and early spring months the hours change to Friday through Monday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This site provides general information about the Lodgepole area of Sequoia National Park. The visitor center houses exhibits on local geology and forest plant and animal communities. A bookstore on site provides maps of the region and books on the cultural and natural history of the park. Tickets for the Crystal Cave tour are available daily from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the summer months. Wilderness permits for the Lodgepole area are available at the ranger station next to the visitor center.
