Location Information
Sears-Kay Ruin is one of a series of prehistoric hilltop villages located between Phoenix and the mountains to the north. It contains the remains of about 40 rooms in 5 separate walled buildings called compounds. The site has been known since well before the turn of the century. It was discovered in 1867 by soldiers from Camp McDowell visiting the area on patrol.
