Directions
From Carson, Follow the Wind River Highway (County Route 30) north to the forest boundary. Continue on 30 north to Forest Route 5401. Follow 5401 to the trailhead.
Location Information
From Forest Route 5401, Dry Creek Trail passes the junction with Trapper Creek Trail #192 and runs parallel with Dry Creek for an easy hike through pockets of old-growth forest. After about four miles, the trail crosses Bourbon Creek and then intersects Big Hollow Trail #158. The trail features Old-growth forest, sparkling Dry Creek and the turbulent Bourbon Creek.
