Directions
From Carson, Travel north on the Wind River Highway (County Route 30) to the forest boundary. Continue on 30 past Beaver Campground to Forest Route 3065. Follow 3065 west for about 0.5 mile to Forest Route 5401. Follow 5401 northwest to the trailhead.
Location Information
Trapper Creek Trail #192.1 climbs from Forest Route 5401 through an old-growth forest, intersecting with Dry Creek Trail #194 almost immediately. The trail climbs for about one mile, before the junction with Observation Trail #132 near the wilderness boundary. (At this point it becomes Trapper Creek Trail #192.2, which is for hikers only.)
