From Carson, Travel north on the Wind River Highway (County Route 30) to the forest boundary. Continue on 30 past Beaver and Paradise Creek Campgrounds and the Upper Wind River Winter Sports Area to Forest Route 3050. Follow 3050 west to the Hard Time Loop Sno-Park where the trail can be accessed.
Location Information
The Hard Time Loop consists of Forest Road 3050, Forest Road 3054, a portion of the Oldman Loop Trail, and Snofoot Trail #150. The Hard Time Loop is an excellent road and trail tour for beginners on flat and rolling terrain. Clear cuts along Forest Road 3050 offer small hills for practicing skills. This loop offers groomed ski tracks in the winter set with funds provided by the Washington State Parks form revenue generated form Washington Sno-Park Permits.
