Directions
From Yampa, Follow County Road 7 southwest of Yampa about 7 miles to Forest Road 900. Continue on Forest Road 900 another 8 1/2 miles to the trailhead at Stillwater Reservoir.
Location Information
The North Derby Trail is located in the Bear River Area. It leads from Stillwater Reservoir, into the Flat Tops Wilderness, over to the North Fork Derby Creek on the White River National Forest, Eagle Ranger District. The trail crosses a pass separating the Yampa and Colorado River drainages and then continues down to Hooper and Keener Lakes.
