Directions
From Willard, Travel north on County Route 18 for approximately seven miles to Forest Route 86. Follow 86 north to Forest Route 080. Take 080 northeast to the trailhead.
Location Information
Beginning from Forest Route 080,the Monte Cristo trail heads east and then south along a sparsely forested ridge to Monte Cristo Mountain. Here you can find evidence of an old fire lookout that was built in the 1930s. The trail drops down to meet the Monte Carlo Trail #52 on Forest Route 1840, then continues descending to the end of the trail.
