From Darrington, Drive 7 miles north on Hwy. 530 towards Rockport to the Suiattle River Road #26 on the right. Follow this road 22.6 miles to the end of the road. The trailhead is just past the Sulphur Creek Campground.
Location Information
The Suiattle River Trail is a moderate 11.2 mile hike or horseback ride. The trail begins at the end of the Suiattle River Road #26 and ends at the junction with the Pacific Crest Trail. This trail accesses a number of other trails such as the Milk Creek Trail and Miners Ridge Trail.Follow an abandoned road past the Wilderness boundary and proceed for 1 mile to the junction with the Milk Creek Trail. The Suiattle River Trail continues to the left. As the trail winds in and out of stream gullies, travelers pass through groves of old and young trees for 5.8 miles to Canyon Creek. Several nice camp spots are located here. The trail continues for another 3 miles to the junction with the Miners Ridge Trail on the left. Continue another 1.4 miles to reach the junction with the Pacific Crest Trail.
