Location Information
From east to west the trail shows a continuum of areas disturbed by man and reclaimed by mother nature to areas of near pristine forest.

The trail connects the Sixshooter National Recreation Trail #197 and the Pineline Trail #193. It provides a connection between the trails on the north side of the Pinals and those on the south. From a small parking spur on the 651C road 3/10th of a mile east of the turnoff to Ferndell Trailhead, the trail goes west following the driveway of a burned out summer home until just beyond the intersection with the Sixshooter National Recreation Trail #197. It continues generally west becoming a constructed foot path. Near this midpoint it crosses the 651 road at the ruins of the Girl Scout Camp, Then continues west and connects with the Pineline Trail.
