From Grand Junction, Take Hwy 70 east to Hwy 65 south. Take Rim Drive southwest for five miles and you will reach the access for Deep Creek Trail.
Location Information
The trail is used moderately to access the North Mesa Lakes and the Coal Creek Trail. Whether visitors use the full length or one of the access routes it is a scenic day-use trail. The trail is designated for hiker, horse traveler and motorized vehicles under 40".
