From Camptonville, Travel 10 miles northeast on Hwy. #49 and the campground will be on the right, past Indian Valley Campground.
Location Information
North Yuba Trail is a moderately difficult 7.5 mile trail at an elevation of 2,600 feet. This trail is close to the river for most of the distance, In places the trail climbs some, but for the most part, it is fairly level. The route is beautiful as it traverses through varying wooded habitats and rocky outcrops. The trail crosses many side drainage's that flow into the North Yuba River. During high runoff, use extra caution when making these crossings.

Those who can arrange transportation, may which to be dropped off at Goodyear's Bar and picked up at the Rocky Crest Trailhead.
