Location Information
GENERAL INFORMATION: This section of the Pacific Crest Trail extends from Scissors Crossing (at the junction of Highway 78 and S2) north along a VERY DRY portion of the trail called San Felipe Hills to the Montezuma Valley Road (S22). The southern segment traverses Anza-Borrego Desert State Park and the entire section offers great views into the desert. You MUST carry a lot of water as none is available along the entire 25 miles.
