Directions
From LA Basin, Drive south on I-15 to Highway 79 South (Temecula). Follow Hwy. 79 approx. 25 miles east, southeast through Oak Grove to the junction with the Chihuahua Valley Road. Follow the Chihuahua Valley Road east, approx. 6 miles, to a point where the paved road makes a 90 degree turn to the right. A dirt road continues on east at this point. Follow this road approx. 4 miles. The PCT crosses the road in a saddle located approximately 1 mile SSE of Combs Peak. Trailhead parking is along the road.
Location Information
GENERAL INFORMATION: This section of the Pacific Crest Trail extends from the Indian Flats Road (9S05) north to a pass on the Pacific Crest Trail about 1 mile south of Combs Peak.
