Directions
From Camptonville, Travel south approximately .5 miles on Hwy. #49 and tun right onto Old Camptonville Road. Proceed approximately .8 miles and the trailhead will be on the right.
Location Information
Bullards Bar Trail is an easy to moderate 7 mile long trail at an elevation of 2,243. This trail can be started from several trailheads. It offers an easy walk along the contour of the lake with excellent spots for fishing or swimming. There are plenty of wildflowers, ferns and some huge ponderosa pines and Douglas firs. To really enjoy a nice picnic and a relaxing view of the lake, the Dark Day Picnic area is the place to be.
