Location Information
The southern terminus of the Doctor Park Trail is North Bank Campground. From the campground the trail leads north approximately six miles to Doctor Park Road, 744.2C. This trail is used by motorized trail bikes and very popular with mountain bikers.

The trail heads northeast out of the North Bank Campground, beginning at an elevation of 8,400 feet. The trail steadily climbs as it follows Browns Gulch north from the campground. It then veers to the right entering Trail Gulch and continuing to climb.

Doctor Park Trail leads between Manganese Peak and an unnamed peak of 11,050 feet before entering Doctor Park. The tread hits a high point of 10,960 feet approximately one mile south of joining Doctor Park Road. After you've traveled on the road for a short distance it forks. The left side of the fork leads to Spring Creek Road within three miles. The right side of the fork leads to the South Matchless Mine.
