Directions
From Enumclaw, Drive 21.8 miles east on State Hwy. 410 to West Fork Road #74. Turn right and follow the road for 7 miles to Forest Road #7430. Turn left onto this road and follow for 7.4 miles to the end. Trailhead is on the left side of the road.
Location Information
Clearwest Peak Trail is a moderate 0.8 mile hike or horseback ride. The trail begins at 4,725 feet off Forest Road #7430 and ends at 5,640 feet on Clearwest Peak. The trail starts at the end of Forest Road #7430 and follows a ridge to Clearwest Peak and a site of an old lookout. This trail is in the Clearwater Wilderness and has a beautiful view of Mount Rainier and surrounding country.
