Directions
From Gold Bar, Drive east on U.S. Hwy. 2. Turn north at Index onto the North Fork Skykomish River Road #63. Continue for 22 miles to the road's end at North Fork Skykomish River #1051 trailhead. Follow trail #1051 for 1.5 miles to its junction with Pass Creek Trail #1053.
Location Information
Pass Creek Trail is a moderate 3.5 hike or horseback ride. The trail climbs gently following Pass Creek eastwardly for 3.5 miles to its junction with the Pacific Crest Trail. From the junction with PCT, Cady Pass lies 0.5 miles north. Saddlet Gap is 1.6 miles south of the junction. This route is the shortest and easiest access to the PCT on the northeast end of the Skykomish District.
