Location Information
Coldwater Trail heads west from Boundary Trail #1 through a saddle to where it traverses to overlook standing-dead and blown-down trees and views of construction activities. It then descends to Coldwater Creek where it crosses via a bridge and connects to Lakes Trail #211. From the trail are spectacular views of Mount St. Helens, Johnston Ridge, Coldwater Lake and Coldwater Peak. In addition, high country views of Mt. Whittier and Minnie Peak grace this trail.
