Directions
From Cougar, Follow Primary Forest Route east, past the Pine Creek Information Center, to Primary Forest Route 25. Follow 25 north across the forest boundary to Forest Route 9300. Follow 9300 east to Forest Route 9310 Follow 9310 south to Forest Route 240. Take 24o south to the trailhead.
Location Information
House Rock Trail begins in a clear-cut at the end of the 240 spur off Forest Route 9310. It climbs at an easy grade through a medium-age forest to the shelter on a bluff on House Rock. The trail features a newly reconstructed cedar shelter at House Rock, with spectacular views overlooking the Lewis River valley and Mount St. Helens.

There is parking at the trailhead.
