Directions
From Trout Lake, Travel west on State Highway 141 past Mt. Adams to the forest boundary. At the boundary, 141 becomes Primary Forest Route 24. Take 24 north, across Dry Creek and past Hidden Lakes, to the Cultus Creek Campground. The trail is accessed from the Indian Heaven trail #33, which begins at the campground.
Location Information
The Lemei Lake Trail is located in the heart of the Indian Heaven Wilderness. The trail takes visitors through open meadows. Beginning at the Indian Heaven trail #33 near Clear Lake, the trail travels south past Lemei Lake. It ends at the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail #2000 near Junction Lake (4,730 feet elevation).
